Hello, everyone! It’s been so long! I’m very happy to say that we’re back in action, and we’ve found our new sprite artist! Say hello to AlteredGingerr, who will be doing the spritework from now on! Isn’t her coloring just the prettiest? (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
We’ve also appointed our dear pal Kip as our official character designer! Kip will tackle creating and designing the characters from now on, and I’ve already got the first one~ I can’t wait until you guys get to see!
Alrighty, onward to non-art related announcements: We’re currently looking for another writer to help the game progress much more quickly. To be honest, I might be one of the laziest authors I’ve ever seen, and we’re not very far at all. I’d like to collaborate with another person to speed things along, and if you’re interested, message me, okay?
Hello, everyone! Having a happy Valentines Day? I’m having a nice cozy time indoors, thank you very much, it’s freezing out there! At least Vincent doesn’t seem to mind- He’s spending his Valentine’s with a tall, dark thermos of hot cocoa… That actually sounds pretty good about now, haha!
Aaaanyway, serious announcement time. Recently our main artist had to leave us for health issues. This means we no longer have wonderful Kat’s artwork to gaze upon with wonder. While we’re amassing a new art crew (like that fantastic picture up above, which was contributed by Kip,) however, this means big changes for the Visual Novel in general. See, artwork is a big part of a Visual Novel, and it sorta dictates the tone and atmosphere of the game. It’s the first impression that a player gets, so it has to be special- And boy, did Kat ever deliver! She really made it her own, but now that she’s not working with us anymore… Well, it’d feel like we were stealing if we kept that style. That art of Vincent up there is going to be the last time you guys see him looking like that. We’re going to change the style we’re going for, and it’s going to be a huge change. I don’t want to say a lot now, since there really aren’t any final decisions yet, but I hope you’ll all look forward to seeing what these changes will bring to the table.
